Automated Tellering Machine Software Solution

ATMPack® is a UNIX-based Automated Tellering Machine (ATM) application software, developed to provide solutions to financial institutions' on-line transaction processing requirements. It is a multi-tasking system designed to support a continuous 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week operation. It can support various ATM-type interfaces, POS device interfaces, interface to CA/SA of host systems and distributed processing through the Switch interface module.

Credit Card Authorization and Switch System

CCPack® is a current and savings account application software designed for on-line processing of daily banking transaction. It supports different types of configuration in stand-alone, distributed and centralized database system, utilizing a client-server architecture.

High-Speed Transaction Switching System

SWITCHPack® is a UNIX-based transaction switching application software that acts as a switching gateway between merchants and card issuers. Its main function is to send merchant requests to the right network for inter-host transaction authorization. SWITCHPack® supports Electronic Draft Data Capture that provides the facility to electronically capture and log authorized transactions for on-line terminal settlement and reconciliation.

Credit Stock Broker System

BROKERAGEPack is a Windows-based application system designed for Stock Trading Firms to enable stock brokers to handle the management of their back-office operations. It is arranged in three modules, namely: the Customer Accounting, General Ledger and the Certificate Inventory module. It runs under MS Windows NT 4.0 and its system database is handled and processed by the SQL Server Application via its stored procedures.

HPOS General Hire Purchase System: AS400

An AS/400-based, client-server application that facilitates processing of hire purchase transactions. It provides users with a comprehensive system interface that allows them record, generate and track down all transactions related to the operation of a Hire Purchase business. HPOS supports the following functionalities: Hire Purchase Functions, Masterfile Maintenance, and Computer Operations Control.

HPPack. General Hire Purchase System: PC-Based

A client-server application that facilitates processing of Hire Purchase transactions. But it does not just do all that. Incorporated into the system is the Personal Loan System, another client-server application that processes personal loan application, in all its stages, from verification of customer information and credit history, computation of loan payment details, confirmation of agreement, and to printing of reports. We can simply say then that HPPack is a General Hire Purchase System and a Personal Loan System, “in one”. All processing, computations, and validations are taken care of by a single system -- that is HPPack.

Remote Trading System

RTS® is an extension of the ATS® System. It allows broker terminals to be connected to the ATS® System for on-line remote trading floor. Trading can be done from the brokers' offices outside of the trading floor.

Comprehensive Monitoring System

CMS is a Windows-based application software developed to maintain terminal availability to forecast business operation and to determine which component of the system generates an error, on communication level, when abnormal functioning of the system occurs. It enables transaction inquiry to the SQL database: supports point-on-period comparison analysis on daily, monthly and yearly basis of all cashing, reversal and inquiry transaction; generates transaction proof list report, daily terminal status, including summary reports; provides real-time display of ATM status; and, supports trace log on each vital point of ATM transaction.

Online Remittance System

A Windows-based application system that processes transaction on the ends of the remitter, the beneficiary and the main office. It ensures both parties that the remittance will reach the expected recipient at the earliest time possible.

Online Internet-Based Equities System

A Windows-based application system that provides real-time quotes on the stocks the customer wishes to trade and enables the customer to Buy and Sell orders. It also provides other valuable information, such as: customer's personal account status including margin-trading control automatically. The system allows investors to be in control of their investments by making the transaction (Buy & Sell) when needed and be being aware of the current market situation needed in making the right decision.

Branch Payment System (BPS)

An application that reduces the processing load of the Host in terms of accepting payments from different branches of a credit card company or a financial institution (FI). It was also created in such a way that it would accept transactions even though there is no logical connection between Host and FI’s branches, which is made possible through the Store-And-Forward facility.

Internet Enrollment System (IES)

An internet-based application that serves as an intermediary server between a credit card company and its customers and partners. The main function of the system is to get the data needed from customers/partners and send it through a secured site. This site will then interface with the current system so that it will be included in the Host database ready for approval judgment to be sent back to the customer via email or by phone.

Internal Information Inquiry System (3IS)

An online document reporting application specifically designed for downloading of daily POS, ATM and Credit Card transaction reports, for regular viewing Company Officers. It enables each manager to display post-generated reports and log files from other interfaced systems. 3IS was developed to cater the need of a credit card company in minimizing tedious manual and voluminous paper works, yet maximizing the latest in information technology. Likewise, the system helps the company in establishing efficient organizational analysis provided for by the available information.

Spot Personal Loan System

A Client/Server application system that facilitates processing of loans “in a spot” or in the soonest time possible using the system’s fast send-reply messages from the Host to the servers and vice versa. This eliminates voluminous documents that card members are required to provide when applying for a loan. After several system validations, authorizations and confirmation, the applying customer can withdraw the loaned amount from any of the company’s CCD machines.

Public Loan System

A Client/Server application system that facilitates processing of loans in the soonest time possible using the system’s fast send-reply messages from the Host to the servers and vice versa. Each customer, members and non-members alike, is to provide pertinent documents as a prerequisite to applying for a loan. The submitted documents are subjected for review of the Judgment Staff, who, after further verifications would decide if the application is to be approved or denied. After several system validations, authorizations and confirmation, the applying customer can either withdraw the loaned amount from any of company’s CCD machines or he can be issued with a cheque or he can opt to transfer the amount to his account.

Internet/Intranet Inquiry System (2IS)

A Web-based application system that uses the Internet to transfer data from a remote location via secured communication lines. The system provides cardholders the option to view and update their customer information, at the comfort of their homes and offices, without necessarily going to the card issuer’s offices or branches to facilitate it.

Transaction Server Platform

TSP® is a platform used on most of IWPI's UNIX-based products. It is an on-line transaction processing software engine designed for high transaction processing and speed, providing the ability to support a wide variety of financial applicants and flexibility to be modified for connection to any network. TSP® provides the necessary transaction routing/switching and facilities like transaction logging, process control, process scheduling and timer monitoring.

Automated Trading System

ATS® us an on-line stock trading system developed to address the needs of stock brokers for their floor trading operations. It is designed to replace the traditional manual handling of stock orders with the electronic execution of orders. ATS® allows efficient exchange of information across all trading areas and offers a solution for enhancing brokerage automation. It comprises several modules that provides facility for automatic matching of order, opening price calculation, replacement of the trading board with the electronic display board and real-time information on prices of stock issues currently traded on the trading floor.

Price Reporting System on Local Area Network

PRS-LAN is a system designed for brokers and traders to monitor on-line real-time transactions' movement of the stock market trading. Through the PRS®, stock information can be displayed and monitored including viewing of information of the traded stocks for the day, daily foreign quotations and real-time index computations.

Terminal Alarm Operation Device

TOAD® is a system that monitor hardware problems. It allows the placement of the main CPU in a remote area away form the actual operator while still allowing the monitoring of important system messages. With the TOAD® installed, the operator is notified immediately when it detects hardware problems using an alarm device with a flashing light connected to the hardware box. A terminal is used to display status messages for on-line system status monitoring.

Basic Operating Platform

BOP® is the basic operating system designed specifically for OKI AT2SG Cash Dispenser, an Automated Teller Machine for installation in the lobbies, self-service areas of financial organizations of other businesses. BOP® provides the basic software components of the ATS2G machine, which includes configuration, maintenance and self-diagnostic of equipment or devices. BOP also provides a hundred and one ways to accommodate latest windows application, which serves as an information kiosk as well.

Vendor Dependent ATMEmulation System

VAE® is a Windows based Automated Teller Machine user interface software specifically developed for OKI AT2SG ATM/CD that provides solutions to financial institutions' on-line transaction processing requirements. VAE® is designed to run different ATM emulation mode and Financial Transaction System (FTS) configuration to establish communication with the HOST application in different network configurations and protocols. It is capable of sending and receiving transactions messages to and from the Host system. VAE® maintains an audit trail log file for journal printing.

Online Inventory And Accounting System

A Windows-based application system designed to provide a Y2K compliant solution to a fast-growing business that needs a systematic report generation, accurate inventory of their merchandise and an integrated accounting data entry based on their day-to-day transactions.

Bridge Master/Protocol Converter

Bridge Master is a program that acts as a protocol converter in such a way that different applications residing in different boxes could communicate. It was developed using Visual C++ and operates in Windows 95 environment.

CSSB

Collection Support System for Branch Application

The Collection Support System for Branch Application (CSSB) is an application that allows AEON branches to facilitate proper distribution of call loads, recording of calls, and monitoring of staff’s productivity in a call center system. It is designed to reduce the load of AS/400 so as to avoid problems due to transaction congestions specifically during peak-days and end-of-days.

CDRFS

Aeon Thana Sinsap ( Thailand) Public Co., Ltd. currently uses the Aeon Intranet Inquiry Information System (a3is) – Cash Position, CD Replenishment and Depository Replenishment Web Pages in preparing their CD Replenishment Order Request form. The printed Order Request Form will then be given to a third party security agent to refill the cash cassettes. The Replenishment Order Request is usually done in one and half day advance before the actual date.

Loyalty Point System

A popular scheme among credit card merchants is to reward purchases with an in-house loyalty points scheme. In practice you earn points for all purchases and these can then be redeemed with retailers participating in that the scheme with the credit card brand. While more restricted than cash back offers these deals have the potential to offer better value since the credit card brand can obtain special deals with participating retailers. The Loyalty Point System is a system that allows AEON to compute points earned by their credit card (VISA, JCB, AMEX, and MasterCard) holders. Every day of the month, a Sale Data File will be sent to the system from AS400. This file contains the total amount purchased by the customer from which points will be computed. The points incurred by the customer will be updated and sent back to AS400 every cut-off day of the month.

CIB

Customer Information Inquiry Service Bureau

The Customer Information Inquiry Service Bureau (CIB) is a system that processes data mining of customer information requested by a member financial credit or retail institution for authorization or judgment processing of customer applications.

ATM Customer Support System

The main purpose of the this system is to have an efficient transaction inquiry system and easy to use screen interface for the user to give quick response to customer about the status of transaction made. The system provides the user with efficient searching conditions for locating the customer reported problem transactions.

Triple-DES support for ATM's

  • ATMPack® is a UNIX-based application software that provides solutions to financial institutions’ online transaction requirements. It was designed to support Cashing and Inquiry for On-Us, Off-Us and Switch-In transactions. It supports PIN verification, CVV generation, KEYK generation and PIN translation through TCP/IP Interface to the Host.
  • ATMPack® also supports MDS912i, an interface system to ATM device that runs on NT Operating environment. It emulates 912-enhanced message format to support cash deposits and giving change, in coins or in bills, for payment transactions made thru ATM terminals.
  • Currently the ATMPack® System of Aeon Thailand uses 16-digit key used to encrypt PINs for ATM MasterCard transactions. To ensure the security of data, a 32-digit key must be used to encrypt PINs. Hence, the ERACOM Triple DES Implementation for MasterCard. ERACOM Triple DES Implementation for MasterCard is an enhancement of ATMPack® System of Aeon Thailand that enable it to support both single (16-digit) and double (32-digit) length key used to encrypt and decrypt communication key and PIN to be send to MasterCard.

EMV Support for POS/ATM's

FEP System is enhanced to facilitate transactions with EMV chip technology for more secure transactions. EMV (Standard for chip payment cards, developed jointly by Europay, MasterCard and Visa) is an increasingly powerful business case driven mainly in most countries, by the need for fraud reduction.

Remote PIN Mailer

Remote PIN Mailer Printing Utility is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) tool that will be developed by Intelligent Wave Philippines Inc. (IWPI) to provide printing facility of PIN Mail data for Aeon Malaysia Head Office. PIN Mail data comes from Aeon’s Data Center and will be transferred to Aeon’s Head Office when Head Office wants to print the PIN Mail data anytime.

Web-based PIN Change

The Web Pin change system of FEP is composed of four (4) major processes and operates using inter-process communication and TCP/IP protocol to communicate with the web server and HSM machine. These four processes are:

  • WebPinReceiver – this process receives all incoming requests from web server application. All requests will be sent to a queue (Q1), which will be fetched by the PinChange process for decryption and data validation.
  • PinChange – this process reads all the requests from the queue (Q1) and decrypts the request data. It will validate the request information sent by the web server such as the card number, card status, pin length and if the current and new pin number is the same. If all information passes the validation, the necessary information will be passed to a queue (Q2) that will be fetched by the WebHSM process for sending to HSM machine. If any information failed the validation, this process will send an error message to the reply queue (Q3) that will be fetched by WebPinSender process.
  • WebHsm – this is the process that interfaces with the HSM machine. It reads all requests from a queue (Q2) then formats a message to be sent to the HSM machine. Please refer to the technical manual how pin validation is performed. Approved or Reject reply will be written to the reply queue (Q3).
  • WebPinSender – this process reads all replies coming from the PinChange and WebHsm process. All reply read will be sent to the client.
